Event Sales Coordinator

Third Avenue Events is seeking a proactive and efficient Event Sales Coordinator to support our sales and proposal processes, ensuring that every event we manage exceeds expectations.

As an integral member of our team, you will play a key role in supporting our clients in the sales process and delivering exceptional experiences. We are looking for a candidate who is adaptable and able to handle a variety of tasks that may change from day to day. Flexibility in managing different responsibilities and priorities is key to success in this role. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage emails, schedules, and tasks effectively

  • Become an expert in trending destinations through research, travel and industry events

  • Source properties, transportation, DMCs, production, and amenities for client proposals

  • Create and update client proposals 

  • Assist the Head of Sales with budget spreadsheets, SOWs, and RFPs

  • Participate in client calls to take notes and gather event requirements

  • Organize digital and physical documents

  • Communicate with properties for bid updates and confirmations

  • Ability to Travel 10% of the time

Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills

  • Proficient in computer applications and written communication

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Experience in Sales within Hospitality Industry (Hotel, Venue, Events, etc.)

  • Experience in managing budgets and executing contracts

  • Understanding of the corporate event planning industry, including industry trends, competitors, hotel brands and key players.

  • Strong communication skills

  • Passion for the travel industry and curating unique experiences.
